Kentico CMS is a content management system (CMS) for displaying and managing websites, online businesses, intranets and community pages. Kentico is used by more than 18,000 web portals in 90 countries. Kentico CMS uses the ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server platforms . Kentico enables development with the help of a portal engine or directly in Visual Studio . Kentico is compatible with Microsoft Windows Azure .

Kentico CMS is developed by Kentico Software, a company founded in 2004 by Petr Palas and based in Brno . Kentico Software opened its US office in 2008 and another in the UK and its second US office in 2010. In 2010, Kentico Software was named the fastest growing Czech company in the FAST 50 ranking published by Deloitte , thanks to its 1781% growth over the past five years.
