Kento Fukuda ( Japanese 福田 健 人 Fukuda Kento ; born May 15, 1990 in Toride ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Fukuda learned to play soccer on the school team at Toride Shoyo High School . He signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare in 2009 . The club from Hiratsuka in Kanagawa prefecture played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2010 he was loaned to FC Kariya in Kariya . In 2011 he returned to Shonan Bellmare. From the beginning of 2012 to August 2012 he was loaned to the third division team Fujieda MYFC . In 2013 he went to Singapore . Here he signed a contract with Albirex Niigata (Singapore) . The club, founded in 2004, is an offshoot of the Japanese second division club Albirex Niigata and played in the first Singaporean league, the S. League . For Albirex, he completed 27 top division games. Geylang International signed him in early 2014. Here he signed a two-year contract. He was on the field 49 times for Geylang in the first division. Warriors FC , also playing in the first division, signed Fukuda in early 2016. After 91 first division appearances, he ended his career as an active football player at the end of 2019.
