Kepler-438 is a red dwarf in the constellation Lyra , the approximately 470 light years from the sun away. The star is at least one exoplanet orbits, whose discovery on January 6, 2015 as part of the Kepler mission of NASA was announced. The planet with the designation Kepler-438b is only slightly larger than Earth and is very likely to be in the habitable zone of Kepler-438.
