Kerascoet

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Behind the pseudonym Kerascoët are the two French artists Marie Pommepuy (* 1978 in Brest ) and Sébastien Cosset (* 1975 in Paris ).

life and work

Marie Pommepuy moved to Paris at the age of 18 to study applied arts and later scientific drawing. During this time she met the architecture student Sébastien Cosset. Both have a great passion for comics. Together they have drawn several albums for the series Fräulein Rühr-mich-nicht-an and Donjon - Abenddämmerung . The couple live and work in Paris.

The name Kerascoët was born out of necessity. Both wanted to sign an illustration together, but it was too small for two signatures. So they agreed on the common alias Kerascoët. This is a place in Brittany where Marie Pommepuy grew up.

In addition to various comic projects, Kerascoët have been working as illustrators since 2002.
