Keri Smith

Keri Smith is a Canadian writer and illustrator.

Life

Smith is the author of a number of books on creativity that have enjoyed success in North America for several years. So far (2011) three of her books have been published in Germany. Smith is also an independent illustrator who has worked for newspapers, publishers, and companies such as Random House , Hallmark Cards , Ford Motor Company , The Washington Post , The New York Times, and The Boston Globe .

Keri Smith has given lectures and workshops at several institutions and schools in North America, including The Learning, Arts & the Brain Summit at Johns Hopkins University . She has been interviewed by various magazines and has been teaching part -time in Vancouver , British Columbia at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design since the fall of 2010 .

In her blog The Wish Jar (something like Aladdin's magic lamp), Smith describes herself as a guerrilla artist .
