The Kerick Col is a turn 150 m high pass in the western part of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It runs in a north-south direction between Gin Cove and Rum Cove . To the east it is flanked by the Crisscross Crags .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the pass in 1983 after the seal hunter Kerick Booterin in Rudyard Kipling's story The White Seal from The Jungle Book from 1894.
