Kermit Roosevelt
Kermit Roosevelt senior (born October 10, 1889 in Oyster Bay , New York , † June 4, 1943 (by suicide) in Fort Richardson , Alaska ) was an American writer, businessman and officer.
Kermit Roosevelt was the second son of US President Theodore Roosevelt and his wife Edith Kermit Carow Roosevelt , and the cousin of US President Franklin D. Roosevelt . His son Kermit Roosevelt Jr. was a senior CIA employee involved in the overthrow of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh . He had a long friendship with Denys Finch Hatton . Kermit Roosevelt Sr. was a founding member of the United States Lines .
1913–1914 Roosevelt participated with his father in the Roosevelt-Rondon expedition of the Brazilian Marshal Cândido Rondon in the Amazon basin .
