Kerry Kittles (born June 12, 1974 in Dayton , Ohio ) is a retired American basketball player who played for the National Basketball Association between 1996 and 2005 .

NBA

Kittles left Villanova University after four years as the highest point actor and ball thief in team history.

In the 1996 NBA Draft , the New Jersey Nets voted eighth place Kittles. Kittles scored 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds , 3.0 assists and 1.9 steals in his freshman year and was called up to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team . He remained a reliable scorer for the Nets for the next few years and reached the NBA final with them in 2002 and 2003, which they lost both times. The 2000/01 season he sat out due to a knee injury. In 2004 he was transferred from the Nets to the Los Angeles Clippers , where he only played 11 games.

In his eight-year career, Kittles scored 14.1 points, 2.6 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

After his career he did an MBA at Villanova University.
