Kerry Lang (born January 24, 1976 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish professional triathlete, Scottish duathlon champion, British triathlon runner-up of the year 2009 and member of the British World Championship series team since 2009 or previously in the previous series, the BG World Cup 2007 and 2008.

Athletic career

Kerry Lang started ITU competitions in 2004 and won her first European Cup medal that year. In the seven years from 2004 to 2010, Lang took part in 39 ITU competitions and achieved 8 top ten placements.

She started for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 and finished in 18th place.

In France, Lang has been competing for Club Poissy in the club championship series Lyonnaise des Eaux since 2008 . In 2010 she took part in two competitions: in Beauvais she was 12th and in Paris 14th. In 2011, Lang has only competed in Tours so far, there is no individual classification for this race.

In the 2011 World Championship ranking, Lang temporarily fell back to 63rd place (August 2011) because she was eliminated from two competitions. Kerry Lang also takes part in non-ITU competitions, for example she won the 15th International Duathlon in Lanzarote in 2011 (January 22, 2011).

Kerry Lang studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh Medical School (MBChB, 1998) and the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS, Glasgow 2001). She works in the ENT department of the Glasgow Southern General Hospital. Her coach is Marc Jenkins, the husband of the Scottish triathlete Helen Jenkins .

Kerry Lang lives in Elderslie . She has been married to Joel Filliol since September 2013.
