Ketzerbachtal was a municipality in the Saxon district of Meißen . It was the seat of the administrative community Ketzerbachtal and named after the Ketzerbach flowing through it. Ketzerbachtal was dissolved on January 1, 2014, the former districts came to the city of Nossen .

The average annual precipitation from 1961 to 1990 was 661 mm and was therefore just below the German average, with the exception of August. The driest month is February, the most rainfall fell in August.

history

On January 1, 1994, the Ketzerbachtal community was rebuilt from the former communities of Raußlitz, Rüsseina and Ziegenhain with their respective districts. On March 1, 1994 Rhäsa was incorporated.

On November 14, 2013, the municipal council decided to abolish the administrative partnership with the municipality of Leuben-Schleinitz and to incorporate it into the city of Nossen, which took place on January 1, 2014.

Incorporations

On November 1st, 1935 Karcha (1925: 120 inhabitants), Kreißa (1925: 109 inhabitants), Oberstößwitz (1925: 164 inhabitants), Pinnewitz (1925: 269 inhabitants), Schrebitz (1925: 85 inhabitants) and Zetta (1925: 131 inhabitants) incorporated into Raußlitz . The same date made the incorporations of Evening (1925: 68 people), Klessig (1925: 173 inhabitants), Noßlitz (1925: 85 people), Priesen (1925: 98 people) and Stahna (1925: 85 people) to Rüsseina those from Bodenbach (1925: 145 inhabitants) and in parts from Gruna (1925: 192 inhabitants) to Rhäsa, that from Leippen (1925: 266 inhabitants) to Ziegenhain and that from Mutzschwitz (1925: 141 inhabitants) to Höfgen. In the course of the incorporation of Wolkau (1925: 228 inhabitants) to Saultitz, which also took place on November 1, 1935, the name was changed to Wolkau. From then on there were six communities: Raußlitz (1939: 1,121 inhabitants), Rüsseina (1939: 698 inhabitants), Rhäsa (May 17, 1939: 779 inhabitants), Ziegenhain (1939: 498 inhabitants), Wolkau (1939: 333 inhabitants) and Höfgen ( 1939: 244 inhabitants). On December 1, 1939, parts of Rhäsa were ausgemeindet to Nossen .

On January 1, 1973 Wolkau was incorporated into Rhäsa and on August 1 of the same year Höfgen was incorporated into Ziegenhain.
