Kevin David Hyde
Kevin David Hyde (* 1955 ) is a British mycologist at Mae Fah Luang University in Northern Thailand . There he heads the Mushroom Research Center . In particular, he participates in the reorganization of the taxonomy of mushrooms. His botanical-mycological author's abbreviation is " KDHyde ".
Life
Hyde received his Ph.D. in 1985. in marine mycology from the University of Portsmouth and in 2001 his Doctor of Science from the University of Wales with a thesis on tropical mushrooms. He then went to Hong Kong University .
From 1998 to 2007 he edited the magazine Fungal Diversity .
