Kevin Joseph Pangos (born January 26, 1993 in Denison ) is a Canadian basketball player .

career

Pangos played basketball as a teenager at Denison Secondary School in East Gwillimbury, north of Toronto . His father Bill coached the women's basketball team at York University for 29 years . Kevin's mother played basketball at McMaster University and his sister Kayla coached at York University under Father Bill.

From 2011 to 2015 Pangos was a member of the college team at Gonzaga University in Washington state . In 140 of his total of 142 appearances for Gonzaga, the playmaker was in the starting line-up, he posted an average of 12.8 points and 2.8 rebounds, while statistically speaking he prepared 3.8 basket hits for his teammates per match. In the all-time Gonzaga best list, Pangos was in fifth place for points scored (1824), second for ball wins (177) and fifth place for basket assists when he left the university team in 2015.
