Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates is the architecture office of the star architect Kevin Roche , which he ran together with the civil engineer John Dinkeloo from 1966. Between 1951 and 1961 Roche worked for Eero Saarinen in his office Eero Saarinen & Associates . After Saarinen's death in 1961 due to a brain tumor, Roche and Dinkeloo continued to run the office, moving it from Birmingham , Michigan to Hamden , Connecticut, and finally renaming it in 1966 to Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates. During this transition period between 1961 and 1966, Roche and Dinkeloo completed work on a large number of Saarinen's unfinished works. These include some of the most famous buildings by the native Finn, such as the TWA Flight Center , the main terminal of Dulles International Airport or the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. In 1974, Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo and Associates was Architecture Firm Award of AIA awarded.

Roche and Dinkeloo became known in particular for several corporate campuses for some large corporations. In addition to the headquarters for Union Carbide and General Foods , the joint office of Roche and Dinkeloo also designed Ciudad Grupo Santander for Banco Santander , the Borland International Corporate Headquarters for Borland and the Merck Headquarters Building for Merck & Co. for the headquarters of the Ford Foundation Roche-Dinkeloo received the Twenty-five Year Award in 1995 .
