Kevin Starr

Kevin Starr (born September 3, 1940 in San Francisco ; † January 14, 2017 there ) was an American historian and librarian with research on California history . Starr graduated from Harvard University . He did research at the University of Southern California . For his services he received the Guggenheim Fellowship and the National Humanities Medal .
Starr died of a myocardial infarction at the age of 76 .
