Ardabil Khanate

The Ardabil Khanate was a Persian vassal state in what is now the Iranian province of Ardabil , which existed from 1747 to 1753 .

The khanate came into being after the death of Shah Nadir of Persia in 1747, after which the Persian central power collapsed. The capital was the Ardabil of the same name .

In 1753 it was subjugated by the Karabakh Khanate under Khan Panah-Ali.
