Khar is a place in Pakistan . It is located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . Until 2018 it is one of the tribal areas under federal administration and is the largest in the Bajaur Agency . It is mostly inhabited by members of the Pashtun tribe of the Salarzai .
On December 25, 2010, a suicide bomber blew herself up at a collection point of the United Nations World Food Program . It killed 40 people and injured 100 more. The attack was the first by a woman in Pakistan.
