Khekada is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh . The city is part of the National Capital Region .

The city is part of the Varanasi district . Khekada has the status of Nagar Panchayat . The city is divided into 19 wards . It had a total of 48,676 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of which 26,053 were men and 22,623 women. Hindus form the largest group of the city's population with a share of over 64%, followed by Muslims with over 32%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 74.86%.

The station was inaugurated in 1972 by Indira Gandhi as a broad-gauge line, before that it was a narrow-gauge line.
