Khemis Miliana (formerly Afreville , Arabic خميس مليانة) is a city in northern Algeria .
geography
Khemis Miliana is located in the district of the same name, which belongs to the province of Ain Defla . To the north is the smaller town of Miliana .
history
In Roman times , the city of Malliana, which belonged to the province of Mauretania Caesariensis , was located here . Malliana was a bishopric in late antiquity , from which the titular bishopric Malliana goes back.
