Kianoosh Rezania (* 1972 in Tehran ) is an Iranian Iranist .

Life

From 1991 to 1996 he studied computer science at the Scharif University for Technology , degree: Bachelor of Science, from 1996 to 1998 computer science at the Scharif University for Technology, degree: Master of Science and from 1999 to 2002 ancient Iranian culture and languages ​​at the university Tehran , degree: Magister . Since 2011 he has been a research assistant ( DFG third-party funding) at the seminar for Iranian studies at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . He is a professor for West Asian religious history in Bochum .

His focus is on Zoroastrianism , oral tradition, conception of time and conception of space.
