Kicking Specialist is the name of a position in American football and Canadian football . Kicking Specialists perform all activities in which the ball has to be kicked, i.e. punts , field goals , point after touchdowns and / or kickoffs . Kicking Specialists usually do not hold any other positions. The opposite position is the return specialist .
