KidsCo was a children's television station founded in April 2007 by Nelvana , Cookie Jar and Universal . KidsCo was headquartered in London . The first KidsCo channels went on air on September 7, 2007 in Poland , Romania and Turkey . A German offshoot existed from October 29, 2008. From 2011 there was also a French KidsCo offshoot. Other KidsCo channels were u. a. planned in Italy and the USA. AustriaSat ceased broadcasting on June 30, 2013. The German branch was also discontinued on December 31, 2013. The other offshoots around the world have also been discontinued and the station website is no longer accessible.
Range
KidsCo could be received via cable at Unitymedia and Kabel BW . In Austria, the station was on offer at LIWEST . The station could be received by satellite in the German-speaking area in Austria via Austriasat , but on May 21, 2013 the pay-TV provider announced on its website that KidsCo will be removed from AustriaSat's program on June 30, 2013.

KidsCo broadcast children's programs around the clock. The program consisted largely of animated series and films. In addition to classics such as Danger Mouse , Dennis and Super Mario Bros. , the program also featured premieres and in-house productions. For example, KidsCo has previously broadcast the cartoon The Beach Crew exclusively . In September 2010, KidsCo showed the third season of Captain N and the series Cyber-Jagd in German for the first time
The station's own productions included Boo & Me and Jazz 'craft hour .
The evening program ran cartoons and real series for older children, for example Twist Total or The Enid Blyton Adventure .
