Kieran O'Brien

Kieran O'Brien (* 1973 in Rochdale , Greater Manchester , England ) is a British actor .

As the star of the BBC television series Gruey - The Hero Who Always Falls , he was only 15 years old. He became known with Coronation Street and Children's Ward , but especially as Mark Fitzgerald, son of Robbie Coltrane in For All Cases Fitz (1993 to 2006). He had other appearances in Jason and the battle for the golden fleece and Band of Brothers and as Eric Metcalfe in the crime series Messiah .

In 1999 O'Brien was seen naked in the movie Virtual Sexuality and caused a scandal in 2005 when he was shown in Michael Winterbottom's film 9 Songs during explicitly filmed sex with his film partner Margo Stilley . This film was followed by a role as an off-speaker in Winterbottom's The Road to Guantanamo , the series Totally Frank and the films Goal! and Goal 2 .
