Kieren Edge (born September 16, 1985 ) is a former South African ice hockey player and current coach, who spent his playing career with the Natal Sharks. In 2011 he was the coach of the South African women's national team .

Career

Kieren Edge played his entire career for the Natal Sharks in a regional ice hockey league .

International

First, Edge played for the South African youngsters at the U18 World Cup in 2002 in Division III, when they were promoted to Division II. In the men's national team , he only played at the 2008 World Cup in Division III. With second place at the tournament in Luxembourg behind North Korea, he was also promoted to Division II.

Coaching

At the U18 World Cup in 2008 Edge was the assistant coach of the South African youth in Division III. He was responsible for the South African women's national team at the 2011 World Cup in Division IV.
