Kilian Keller (politician)

Johann Kilian Keller (born September 5, 1839 in Giebelstadt ; † August 27, 1908 there ) was a farmer, mayor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Keller attended elementary school and learned on the farm. He made trips to Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From 1870 to 1893 he was mayor of Giebelstadt and since 1867 a member of the district committee. He was a member of the agricultural district committee for Lower Franconia since 1872. In 1882 he commissioned an appraisal to examine the construction of a sugar factory in his community.

From 1890 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Middle Franconia 6 ( Rothenburg ob der Tauber , Neustadt an der Aisch ) and the National Liberal Party . Between 1887 and 1907 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies .

He was the bearer of the Order of Merit of St. Michael .
