Kim Bo-kyung (born October 6, 1989 ) is a South Korean football player .
Career
Kim played at Hongik University , with which he won the 2008 Fall Championship. In 2009 he took part with South Korea in the Junior World Cup in Egypt. With one goal each against the USA and Paraguay, he contributed to the fact that the South Koreans advanced to the quarter-finals, in which Kim was not allowed to take part due to a yellow card suspension.
After his strong appearances in Egypt, the left-footed player was appointed to the senior national team in early 2010. On January 9, 2010, he played his first international match against Zambia. A month later he took part in the East Asian Football Championship. Kim prepared the goal for the 3-1 final against hosts Japan.
At club level, Kim Bo-kyung signed his first professional contract with the J. League club Cerezo Osaka in January 2010 , but was awarded to the second division club lita Trinita shortly afterwards . In the summer of 2010 he was in the South Korean squad at the World Cup in South Africa .
In July 2012 Bo-kyung moved to the English Football League Championship at Cardiff City .
In 2012 he was in the squad for the Olympic Games and was used in five of six games. In the game for third place, he and his team were able to win the first medal for South Korean football players with the bronze medal. He won the 2016 AFC Champions League with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in November 2016 .
