Kim Geon-hee ( 金根熙 ; * August 9, 2000 ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Kim started the World Cup for the first time in Calgary in November 2016 , finishing 32nd and 19th over 500 m. With the relay she won her first World Cup there. Her best individual results in the World Cup in the 2016/17 season were sixth place over 1500 m and fifth place over 1000 m in Gangneung . At the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo , she won the gold medal with the relay. In the 2018/19 season she won her first individual World Cup victory in Almaty over 1500 m and reached tenth place in the World Cup over 1500 m at the end of the season. In addition, she was second in Almaty and third in Dresden with the relay. At the 2019 World Championships in Sofia , she won the gold medal with the relay.
