Kim Hyung-chil (born July 1, 1959 , † December 7, 2006 in Doha ) was a South Korean rider.
He took part in the eventing competitions at the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 and in Athens in 2004 . With the South Korean team he won the silver medal at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan .
At the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 , he had a fatal accident while riding an obstacle when he fell on obstacle no. 8 and his horse fell on him.
