Kim Joon-kyo

Kim Joon-Kyo (born February 16, 1982 in Seoul ) is a South Korean teacher and politician. During the 2007 presidential election , he helped Lee Hoi-chang . In 200 he was a member of the Party for Freedom and Advancement (PFA) candidate for parliament. He is currently a member of the Jayu-hanguk party .

Education and Early Career

Kim was born in Seoul. He was educated at Seoul Science High School and holds a degree in industrial engineering from KAIST . After graduating, Kim worked as a math teacher in Daechi-dong, a wealthy neighbor of Gangnam-gu . He also wrote books during this time.

Political career

Kim entered 2008, the Party for Freedom and Advancement in and went for the constituency Gwangjin-gu as a candidate in the first election of the parliamentary election and lost. During this time he promised to send all the children in the district to Seoul National University .

In the 2012 election, Kim moved to the Yuseong constituency, but was defeated by Song-Seok-chan in the preselection. The party suffered a major defeat in the elections and as a result was integrated into the ruling Saenuri Party (now Jayu-hanguk Party ). He automatically became a member of the Saenuri party.

After the heavy defeat in the local elections in 2018, the president of the Jayu-hanguk party Hong Jun-pyo resigned and had the party elect a new chairman in February 2019. Kim ran as a candidate for youth leadership, but was defeated by Shin Bora . On May 2, he and other Jayu-hanguk MPs shaved his hair in protest against the electoral reform of the ruling Deobureo-minju party .

ideology

Kim mentioned that Koreans are "the greatest race in the world" and called for the deportation of illegal immigrants and Muslim refugees. He is skeptical of the political center and argues that it is "unrealistic" and "impossible". He compared the President Moon Jae-in with the left-wing Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro .

Controversy

On February 18, 2019, Kim provoked and said during the Jayu hanguk leadership's election speech: “What the hell is wrong with the president? I cannot recognize the idiot as our leader ”. The ruling Deobureo Minju Party criticized his statement as "disgusting hate speech full of barbaric McCarthyism ".
