Kim Un-bae (born August 21, 1913 in Seoul , † February 15, 1980 in Incheon ) was a Korean marathon runner . In his active time, Korea was not an independent state and was under Japanese rule . He therefore started under the name Kin Onbai for Japan .
In 1931 he became the Japanese runner-up with his personal best of 2:34:58 h. In 1932 he was runner-up again in 2:37:57 h and qualified for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles , where he was sixth in 2:37:28 h.
