Kim Young-chul (born June 30, 1976 ) is a retired South Korean soccer player . He was a center- back and played most of his career at Club Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma . In 2001, 2002 and 2006 he was able to win the South Korean championship with his team. He was appointed to the national team back in 1997, but was rarely used due to inconsistent performance.
