Kimjongilia
The Kimjongilia ( . Kor 김정일 화 , 金正日花 , Kimchŏngil hwa ) is a begonias - hybrids from the group of tuberous begonia .
It was bred in 1988 on the occasion of Kim Jong-il's 46th birthday by the Japanese botanist Mototeru Kamo ( 加 茂 元 照 , Kamo Mototeru ) from Kakegawa . It is registered as "Begonia × tuberhybrida Voss 'KIMJONGILHWA'". It is said to bloom every year on Kim Jong-il's birthday on February 16, to represent the Chuch'e ideology and to stand for wisdom , love , justice and peace . In the official German-language publications of North Korea she is referred to as Kimjongilie .
