Kimmo Koskenkorva (born June 21, 1978 in Haukipudas ) is a Finnish ice hockey player who was last under contract with Uleåborg AIK in the II-divisioona .

Career

Kimmo Koskenkorva began his career as an ice hockey player in the junior division of Kärpät Oulu , for whose professional team he played in the second-class I-divisioona from 1995 to 2000 and in the SM-liiga for two years after the rise of Kärpät . For the 2002/03 season , the winger was committed by Tappara Tampere , with whom he immediately won the Finnish championship . He stayed with Tappara for another two years before he also appeared for SaiPa Lappeenranta for two years . From 2007 to 2009 the Finn was on the ice at Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Elitserien .

From the 2009/10 season Koskenkorva was back under contract with Kärpät Oulu before he moved to Lukko Rauma in April 2012 . In August 2013 he received a trial contract with the Pelicans .

International

For Finland Koskenkorva took part in the Euro Hockey Tour in 2007 and 2009 .
