The Munich Children's and Youth Museum is a museum in Munich and is located in the Starnberg wing station of Munich Central Station . It is operated by the Pädagogische Aktion / Kinder- und Jugendmuseum München eV on behalf of the Cultural Department of the City of Munich . The museum presents changing exhibitions designed to encourage children and young people to participate and experiment. In 1991 the first exhibitions were presented as a mobile program in a converted bus, and in 1996 the museum moved to the main train station.
