Kinder Choco Fresh is a confectionery product from the Ferrero Group that came onto the German market in 2000. It is a 20.5 gram chocolate bar that is filled with a milk and hazelnut cream.

Until 2005 the product was named Prof. Rino . After the renaming, the logo was changed, the slogan I am Schokoknacker and milk froth slurper is no longer used. From 2000 to 2018, Kinder Choco Fresh was shaped like a rhinoceros , from February 1, 2019, this appearance was replaced by two interconnected chambers, similar to the shape usual for chocolate bars. In addition, the weight per bar has been reduced by 0.5 g.

criticism

Due to the sugar content of 39.7 grams per 100 grams, Kinder Choco Fresh was the winner of the DSDZ campaign (Germany is looking for the largest sugar bomb) of the consumer organization Foodwatch in 2009 , in which the ten dairy products aimed at children with the highest sugar content were determined.
