Gurcharan Jit Mall (born March 8, 1952 in Hakimpur , Punjab ), now widely known as King G Mall , has been one of the most productive musicians in the bhangra industry worldwide since 1968 .

At the age of 11 he moved to Birmingham , England. He was instrumental in the development of the bhangra music industry in the western world and gave the movement its soul. King G, Chairman and Artistic Director of the Punjabi Music Dance Academy & Music Builds Bridges, has been teaching bhangra dance and dhol drum full-time and part-time at schools, colleges, universities, art centers at home and abroad since 1977. Since 1984 he has been a full-time musician, record producer, teacher, promoter, artistic director, manager, writer, coach and choreographer in bhangra music and dance. In the 1980s, he founded The Dhol Blasters when he Dhol was poker players of Bhangra band Apna Sangeet.

King Gurcharan Mall performed in America, Australia, Africa, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Spain, Vienna, among others and the Azores.
