King Kongs Deoroller is a German party rock band from Heilbronn .
history
King Kong's roll-on deodorant was founded by the four band members at the end of 2012. All band members had known each other privately and from previous joint musical projects. In December 2012 the band had their first appearance at the "X-Mas rockt" in Bad Rappenau.
In 2013 the band played on the "Am Rande des Wahnsinns" tour together with Saitenfeuer and Enorm in five cities. In 2014 and 2015 further appearances followed at some festivals and as the opening act for various German-speaking bands.
On May 15, 2015, the single "Immer nur Ficken" ( cover version of the song of the same name by " Ganz Schön Feist " ) was released for the upcoming album. On July 10, 2015, the debut album "Gute Besserung" followed , which stayed in the media control charts for a week (position 60). Then the band played a tour of smaller clubs in Germany. The video for the second single, "Claus Hipp" has Micaela Schäfer played.
End of December 2015 were King Kong Deoroller as support for JBO their "Blast Christmas Shows" in Bochum and Osnabrück. In March and April 2016 they were again on tour with JBO in various larger clubs and halls.
On August 19th, 2016 the video for the song "Too Alt for Rock´n Roll" for the upcoming, second album "Imzeichen des Affen" was released . This was released on November 4, 2016. The band then went on their own Germany tour through 12 cities, with the band " Rockwasser " as the opening act.
