Rock water is a German rock - group from the Münsterland .
history
On November 11, 2004 Matthias "Matze" Bonnefeld, Michael "Michi" Bonnefeld, Alex "Thunder" Völker and Jörg "Jogi" Woltering founded the band Rockwasser.
At first, songs by bands that could be described as musical influences were covered during rehearsals, as no band member had played an instrument until shortly before the first rehearsals. But after a short time Matthias Bonnefeld wrote and rehearsed his first songs.
The first concerts were played in mid-2005, and in April 2007 the first CD ORIGINAL was produced and released on its own, which was followed by numerous concerts.
In November 2008, the Asbeck band's second studio album, Hier bei Uns, was released, and this was also distributed independently. In contrast to the first, this album was much more related to German rock.
In 2009 and 2010, several concerts with well-known scene bands such as Betontod , Kärholz and Massendefekt followed .
In the fall of 2010, the third studio album In all the years was released. The first major festivals were played, such as the Ehrlich und Laut Festival , 20 Years Betontod Festival and the Kärholz Heimspiel No.5. This was followed by a label deal with Better Than Hell and Rockwasser became tour support for Betontod on their 2012 anti-rock star tour in Vienna, Munich and Frankfurt.
After a five-year hiatus in 2015 the fourth studio album was Still not enough on Soul Food and in full support of Rookies & Kings released. In addition, the first three albums were re-released. Appearances at festivals like FEK9 and Alpenflair followed .
In 2016 concerts followed as tour accompaniment for 9mm Assi Rock'n'Roll and Inaccessible .
In 2017 Rockwasser again accompanied two tour concerts by Unantastbar, played at various festivals ( GOND FEK9) and worked on her new album, which she recorded in November in the Rookies & Kings Studios in South Tyrol.
In spring 2018 the tour support for 4 shows of the band Frei.Wild followed . Several festivals were played in the summer (Krebsholz-Heimspiel, Alpenflair, GOND, Borna Open Air, Pfeffelbach Open Air). The fifth album HERE.TODAY.NOW was released in June 2018.

Others
- From 2008 to 2011 the band organized the Bolzrock Festival at the Waldstadion in Legden-Asbeck, where several German rock bands (Betontod, Krebsholz, Wilde Jungs) from all over Germany performed with several regional bands from Westmünsterland.
- Every year in November, the band's “birthday concert” takes place in Legden-Asbeck.
