Asbeck in the district of Borken , Westphalia is a village in the western Münsterland with approx. 1297 inhabitants.
history
Asbeck was first mentioned in a document in 1092. In the 12th century, a noble women's monastery was founded in Asbeck , which existed until 1805. Thick linden tree

The football club, FC Germania Asbeck , has existed since 1920, but was still called DJK Asbeck at that time . The greatest success was the promotion to the district league A in 1985. Currently the 1st team in the district league C Ahaus plays.
