King Valley

The King Valley is a small and ice-free valley in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range , it lies above the Conrow Glacier and west of the Horowitz Ridge .

The biologist Roy Eugene Cameron (* 1929), head of the biology team of the United States Antarctic Research Program to investigate this valley between 1967 and 1968, named it after Jonathan Alan King (* 1941), a member of this team.
