Kintampo District

The Kintampo District is a former district of Ghana , which was in the Brong-Ahafo region . By decree of President John Agyekum Kufuor , the district was divided into the districts of Kintampo North and Kintampo South , which have been in the Bono East region since 2018 . The capital of the district was called Kintampo . The district had an area of ​​6,566 km² and the population was 146,943 people (as of 2002).
