Kinzig Valley Bridge

The Kinzig valley bridge is a 985 meter long, four-lane motorway bridge on the A 66 . It is located in Bad Soden-Salmünster in Hesse and is Hesse's longest motorway bridge.

The bridge is located between the Bad Soden-Salmünster and Steinau an der Straße junctions . It crosses the Kinzig Valley Railway , the 987 district road and the Kinzig River .

construction

The bridge is a box girder bridge made of prestressed concrete . Around 30,000 vehicles run on it every day.

history

Construction of the bridge began in 1991 and was completed in September 1994.
