Kirchberger (patrician family)

The Kirchberger family (also Kilchberger) was a Bernese patrician family who settled in Bern in the 14th century and died out in the male line in 1836. The first-born male descendant of Johann Rudolf von Sinner (1800–1880) and Constance Kirchberger (1805–1849) has been called Kirchberger (prefixed by Sinner) since 1890 according to British tradition.
