Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at Klingelhöferstrasse 24 in Berlin-Tiergarten . The original design of the community center comes from Werner Düttmann . Due to profound changes to his design during construction , he distanced himself from the project and had his name removed from the construction sign.

The Tiergarten Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Berlin Stake was organized on September 10, 1961. The community center was built in 1972/73, the campanile made of prefabricated parts in reinforced concrete and glass, designed by Ulrich Reisert, was only added in 1985. The community center was built as a single-storey four-wing complex, to which the church hall is attached. The structure consists of frames in reinforced concrete.
