Pensin Church

The Pensin Church is a church building in the Pensin district of the Kletzin municipality in the Mecklenburg Lake District . It belongs to the Protestant parish Demmin in the Pomeranian Evangelical Church District .

The church was built from field stone on a rectangular floor plan at the beginning of the 19th century . The architectural details of windows, doors and cornices were made of brick . The western half-timbered gable with the roof tower was covered with boards. The pulpit altar dates from the time the church was built. The bell was cast by F. Schünemann in Demmin in 1847 . In 2005 the church received a one-manual organ from the organ builder Friedrich Löbling (Erfurt), which was previously in the baptistery of the St. Bartholomew Church in Demmin.

There is a mausoleum southwest of the church .
