Waldau Church

The Waldau Church is a church building in the Waldau district of Bernburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The church was built in 1893 according to plans by Johannes Otzen and was consecrated in 1894. The brick building was built in the neo-Gothic style, the church tower is to the west of the nave. The church has not been used since 1953. Since then the building has been falling into disrepair and is now in a ruinous state. The roof of the ship has collapsed in parts.

In 1990 the church was sold to private customers. In May 2014, the church was acquired in a foreclosure auction for 2480 euros by the city of Bernburg, which is considering demolishing the church.
