The Evangelical Lutheran parish hall Schirnrod is in the district Schirnrod the city ice rink in Hildburghausen in Thuringia .

The small village with a cemetery and school has not had a church since time immemorial , but a parish hall. The modern building was planned at the end of the 1980s as a meeting place and worship space for the local Protestant parish . The construction was financed especially from grants from the churches of the Federal Republic of Germany . The implementation was in your own hands. After the fall of the Wall, the work continued from 1990 to 1991 with the financial participation of the Hildburghausen district, and in 1992 the inauguration took place .

The parish hall is a white plastered brick building with a red tiled roof and a church tower on the side , which carries a golden cross . In the church service room there is a wooden altar , a baptismal font , an ambo and flexible chairs.

The bronze bells come from the Saargrund and Schirnrod schools .
