The Kirchhorster See is a quarry pond in the municipality of Isernhagen in the Hanover region . It is located southwest of Kirchhorst near the " Altwarmbüchen " junction of the A 7 .

The lake was created at the end of the 1950s when the A 7 was expanded. It was officially opened as a swimming lake in June 1969 .

There is a sandy beach and a lawn for sunbathing on the eastern shore of the lake. A jetty with a bathing platform and access ladder leads into the lake.
