The Kirchsee is a lake in the Ruppiner Land in the north of Brandenburg . It belongs to the territory of the municipality of Sonnenberg in the Oberhavel district . Baumgarten is located on the southeast bank .
The size of the water is 19 hectares with maximum dimensions of about 675 × 480 meters. It is fed by trenches from the Kleiner Dölschsee and the Salchowsee and flows south to the Huwenowsee . There is a small island roughly in the middle of the lake. Some of Baumgarten's properties have access to the lake.
