Kirchstein is a district of the municipality of Kirchanschöring in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . The parish village is located southeast of Lampoding on a hilltop.

history

The place was first mentioned in documents in 1454. Originally there was only the church building with Friedhofsummauerung and the south of that location Mesnerhaus . From the middle of the 19th century the village settlement, which has grown together with Lampoding, developed.
