Lampoding

Lampoding is a part of the municipality of Kirchanschöring in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . On January 1, 1972, the previously independent municipality of Lampoding was incorporated into Kirchanschöring.

The village was first mentioned in the late 8th century in the Notitia Arnonis of the Archdiocese of Salzburg . In the 13./14. In the 19th century, the local nobility was in the service of the Archbishops of Salzburg . Their property in the village belonged to the Gold family in the 15th century , to the Perner von Rettenwörth in 1577 (see Rettenwörth Castle ) and from 1631 to the Counts of Lodron (see Lampoding Castle with a detailed history).
